Welcome to the world of Crafty Occasions... We are a husband and wife team with 26 years experience in the design and production of hand crafted personalised and bespoke wooden gifts and furniture. After our success with our award winning arts and craft shop, tea rooms and guest house, we decided to concentrate on the woodworking business and so formed “Crafty Occasions”. Stuart's unique gifts are well known and we have many satisfied customers. |
Caryn runs the new business whilst Stuart concentrates on making and marketing our products. He loves nothing more than coming up with new ideas and making them work. Each item is hand crafted from solid timbers in The Gift Creator's workshop. This means that they are not only built to last, but also created with the most particular care and attention to detail. |
"The Sittin' Pretty Collection" You can choose any of these to decorate your gift. We laser the outline of the design into the surface and then hand paint each one. This is an ongoing project because the number of designs is growing as we come up with new ideas. |

New Developments These lend themselves to a whole variety of applications. To say “I love you”, or as place settings at weddings, doubling up as wedding favours, or gifts for Christenings, Birthdays etc. |
Bespoke Work We have made many things over the years and still do make a number of bespoke gifts for our customers. Recently we made a lectern from a piece of Burr Elm. An absolutely unique piece of furniture for a new minister, simply beautiful. |
